Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Marley Zwerner and I get to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher. I am incredibly excited about the year ahead, driven by my deep love for this school, its students, and the pivotal role of education in their lives. I look forward to building a classroom environment where all students feel safe, welcome, and encouraged to take chances in their academic and personal growth.
A little bit about me:
My educational journey began as a student right here at Caryn Elementary School. I was richly poured into by fantastic teachers that are still teaching at Caryn Elementary today. I am so proud to be a legacy teacher here at Caryn Elementary. Then, I attended Day Creek Intermediate and Los Osos High School! I received my Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies, my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and my Masters Degree in Learning & Technology at Azusa Pacific University.
I am newly engaged and my fiancé, Christian, and I are looking forward to getting married!
In my free time I love to be outdoors at the beach, eating a yummy meal with my family, or playing pickleball.
