Bethany Oleary

Bethany Oleary

My name is Bethany O'Leary. I am beginning my 26th year at East Heritage Elementary. I have taught second or third grade for the last 25 years at East Heritage Elementary.

I grew up in Washington and attended Oregon State University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I moved to California in 1992 and earned my teaching credential from Cal Poly, Pomona.

I live with my husband and 1 dog, Misa, who is a Husky and Schnauzer mix. I have one son, Aaron, 4 stepchildren, and 7 grandchildren. My greatest joy is when I get the opportunity to babysit our grandchildren.

I love teaching and cannot wait to meet your child. I try to create a safe learning environment that promotes teamwork and an "I can" mindset. We are going to have a great year!
