Week of August 19-23rd

Monday, August 19th: Read at home for 20 minutes. Do Day 1 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. You need to complete the math floppy book page 17. Study your new spelling words you received today. Your Student Planner and Explorer Folder must come back to school daily.

Tuesday, August 20th: Read your AR book for 20 minutes. Do Day 2 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Do page 21 evens only in your GO Math Purple Floppy workbook. Study your spelling words (test Tuesday 8/27) and vocabulary words (test on Wednesday 8/28). Tomorrow is a class rewards day-Snack in Class! Candy, donuts, and cookies are not snack items.

Wednesday, August 21st: Read your AR book for 20 minutes. Do Day 3 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Study your spelling words and vocabulary words. Math homework is a subtraction with regrouping page!

Thursday, August 22: Read your AR book for 20 minutes. Do Day 4 and 5 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Do all of page 13 in your GO Math Purple Floppy workbook, and pick TWO from page 14. Study your spelling words (test Friday) and vocabulary words (test on Monday 8/19). Return the Thursday packet signature page tomorrow!

Tuesday, August 13th: Read your AR book for 20 minutes. Do Day 2 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Do page 11 in your GO Math Purple Floppy workbook. Study your spelling words (test Friday) and vocabulary words (test on Monday 8/19).

Wednesday, August 14th: Read your AR book for 20 minutes. Do Day 3 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Study your spelling words (test Friday) and vocabulary words (test on Monday 8/19).

Tuesday, August 6th: Read at home. Do Day 2 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Your Student Planner and Explorer Folder must come back to school daily.

Wednesday, August 7th: Read at home. Do Day 3 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. Finish your Summer Vacation writing assignment. Your Student Planner and Explorer Folder must come back to school daily.

Thursday, August 8th: Read at home. Do Day 4 AND 5 of your 5-A-Day math worksheet. It is due tomorrow. Finish your Summer Vacation writing assignment. Your Student Planner and Explorer Folder must come back to school daily. WEAR BLUE tomorrow!

Friday, August 9th: Read 20 minutes at home!

Google Sign In:
1. Go to www.google.com

2. Log into Google using your Etiwanda Student Gmail Account and Password. There should be a sign-in button in the top right corner of the screen. Or if an account is already signed into Google, you can click on the profile picture and either add an account or sign out.

3. Access curricular programs (Connect Ed, i-Ready, Khan Academy, etc.) through the Single Sign-On using the following web address: Chromebooks Useful Links (you need to be signed in to your Etiwanda Google account first)

Library eBooks for Students:
1. Make sure you are logged into your Google account. (if not please follow the Google Sign-in instructions above)
2. Click on this link: Library Media Services
3. When you get to the library media website, then click on the Sora picture or link to access the variety of eBooks. OR skip the library media website and click on this Sora eBooks link
4. You can find your school by typing in the zip code 91739 or typing in Etiwanda School District. You must be signed in to your Etiwanda Google account to have access.
5. You can check out 3 books at a time, for up to one week. Once you are done reading a book, you may check it back in by finding it on your shelf, clicking on Options, and selecting Return.

Homework is assigned daily, Monday through Thursday, but if a student does not finish the classwork, they need to finish it at home, and then turn it in the next day.

If a student is absent, they can look at my webpage on East Heritage's website to see if there is anything at home they can do, and then see me when they return for other work missed. A student has one day per day missed to make up and submit absent work, but if more time is needed, please contact me and I can make arrangements with you!
