Jessica Cota-Kwinn

Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year! I consider it a privilege to be your child’s 5th-grade teacher! I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with much success!  Establishing high expectations for our students, helping them grow academically, and nurturing them, are important aspects of teaching for me.  My goal is to create a positive learning environment in our class by encouraging students to be responsible for their behavior and always try their personal best.

A little bit about myself:

This is my fourth year in the Etiwanda School District and my third year teaching. Regarding my education, I received my Bachelor's degree at Azusa Pacific University in Liberal Studies and History. I then earned my Master of Arts in Educational Technology and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I have taught 1st-5th grade general education and coding. I am also privileged to be our site's STEM coordinator this year. In my spare time, I enjoy taking evening walks, playing soccer with my husband, and challenging myself to try new things! I look forward to a fulfilling year for your students both academically and personally as we prepare them for middle school!
