Hi! My name is Angie Florea and this is my 20th year teaching at Golden.
I began my teaching experience in 1994, teaching preschool and then kindergarten, in the private school sector. I received my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of LaVerne in 2002. I went on to receive my credential and Master's degree in Education in 2005 from ULV, as well. Although the majority of my 20 years at Golden have been spent teaching third grade, I have also taught 1st grade, along with combo classes of 2nd/3rd and 3rd/4th grade.
On a more personal note, I have two daughters. Hali is soon to be 32 and is an aquatic veterinarian. She moved to Ohio two years ago for her job. Trinity will be 23 in a few weeks, works as a server, and recently graduated from Citrus College as a political science major. I also have a boyfriend named Elvis...yes, that is his real name:)...who shares in all my life's adventures. I love swing dancing, hiking, the beach, ziplining, going to the movies and musicals, and music. I live in Rancho with my dog, Lucas. I look forward to an exciting year full of learning and growth with your child!
