My name is Brenda Jackson, and I am beyond excited to be your child's 5th grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be my 20th year teaching, having previously taught 2nd, 4th, and 7th.
In my spare time, I love being active! I am an avid runner, having completed many races from distances ranging from 3 miles to 100 miles! I have recently begun to explore the world of triathlon and hope to do my first full Ironman within the next several years. I also enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and paddleboarding. Camping and going to the beach are two of my favorite outdoor activities. On rest days, or when the weather is bad, I enjoy relaxing at home with my dog Piper, watching tv, or reading a book. I also have 3 nieces and nephews that I love spending time with.
I look forward to working with you all this year!
