Hi! My name is Claudia Larwin and I am thrilled to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year! Second grade is great! We will be learning many new things as well as review basic skills and concepts. I know that it will be a wonderful and successful year for everyone!

I have been a part of the Etiwanda family for many years! It has been my pleasure serving in different roles within this outstanding school district!

On a personal note, I have a wonderful husband named Garth and three beautiful children... two are students at Day Creek Intermediate and my eldest lives in Texas! My family keeps me very busy! We love to spend time together going out to eat, going to the movie theatre, working on home improvement projects, and running around from activity to activity! 

I graduated from California State University in 1998! I worked in Riverside for five years, one year as a Bilingual Specialist in Spokane, Washington, and the rest of my years have been here with the Etiwanda School District where I have served in a variety of roles from doing administrative work to being a mentor teacher to teaching grades 1st-4th.
