I'm looking forward to a rewarding year with your child. This is my 32nd year of teaching in Etiwanda School District. I've taught grades K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science from Cal Poly Pomona, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. My classroom environment is built upon mutual respect, encouragement, and trust. I value the opportunity to praise your child's efforts, acknowledge their achievements and cheer them on to greater accomplishments.

Seeing that I'll have the privilege of spending so much time with your child this year, I'd like to share a little about myself.

  • I have a twin sister. My twin is also a teacher.

  • I love being an aunt! I have a niece and a nephew. My niece, Nicole, has also made me a great aunt. I have a 8 year old great nephew named Jameson, and a 5 year old great nephew named Benjamin. My nephew, Will, is working in the field of plumbing.

  • I love to read and listen to music.

  • A book I've enjoyed reading: The Last Lecture.

  • My favorite colors are burgundy and teal.

  • Interesting facts: I've been White Water river rafting and hiked to the summit of Yosemite Falls in Yosemite.

Announcements

Regular classroom communications will be sent via the email linked with your child's Aeries account. I will use district email for all correspondence, so you will not need any code for Rooms App, as I am not utilizing that platform. When contacting me via email, use my direct email address I will provide you. Using the Staff Directory Message Me link does not work efficiently for me to respond back to you.
