Seventh Grade Language Arts/Social Studies

My name is Katie Thompson.  I have been teaching for 25 years and have taught first - fifth grades.  I attended Azusa Pacific University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts, California Clear Credential, and Masters of Education.  I am married with three children.  I enjoy reading, singing, exercising, and taking my kids to their various activities!  I am excited about this school year and all that we as a team can accomplish.

make it a point to help my students meet the academic goals set before them.  I strive to make my classroom a safe, caring environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and learn from one another.  I want my students to use the knowledge they learn in class this year and apply it to their daily lives.
