Trimester Awards Criteria for 2nd Grade
Den of Excellence: All O’s and G’s and no minuses (-) in Citizenship on their report card.
Math Wizard: 5 students with the highest grade point average in math.
Great Grizzly Reader: 2 students are selected at their teacher’s discretion and can be based on any of the following:
Highest AR points
i-Ready results in reading
Improvement in reading
Classroom performance in reading
GRIT Award: 2 students are selected at their teacher’s discretion based on effort and/or improvement
*** Students may earn any of the awards that are listed above multiple times during the course of the year.
