Mrs. Amie Sanders

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 26th year of teaching. I started teaching in the Etiwanda School District teaching 2nd grade at DW Long. I have previously taught grades TK, Kindergarten for a short period time, 1st-3rd, and 5th all here at Perdew. I am also currently the Title 1 Instructional Coach for grades 2nd/3rd.

I received my BA in Biological Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and my MA in Education from the University of La Verne.

My family and I live locally in Rancho Cucamonga. I have lived in the Rancho area for over 45 years! My son is a freshman at Northern Arizona University and my daughter attends Rancho Cucamonga High School as a sophmore.

Classroom Wishlist

Our classroom is always in the need of the following items:

  • Kleenex

  • Large size glue sticks (the smaller size break easily)

  • highlighters

  • pencils

  • card stock paper (white, brights)

  • sandwich size Ziplock baggies

  • stickers (any size or theme)

  • Baby wipes (but due to new regulations only the brand/style pictured below)

Online Resources

All online resources for AR, ConnectEd, Think Central, iREady, and more can be accessed through our single sign on system. Please follow the direction below to access your student's Clever Page. All user names and passwords are the ones they use daily in our classroom.

Open the Clever Portal:

Step 1: Open Google Chrome on your device

Step 2: Go to www.google.com

Step 3: Click SIGN IN or click the Person Icon in the upper right corner

Step 4: Log in using your child’s district issued Google account.

Step 5: Go to http://cb.etiwanda.org/chromebooks

Step 6: If given a choice of log in for Clever, choose to LOG IN WITH GOOGLE
