I am very excited about having the opportunity to introduce your child to the excitement and wonders of school! TK is a time of giggles, smiles, and memories. But, it is more importantly the time in which we can establish a strong foundation of good learning, studying, and behavioral habits that will guide them through school and life
My name is Mrs. Corene Oberholtz. This is my 31st year as a teacher. My 17th year here at Perdew Elementary. I love being an Etiwanda teacher! I'm originally from the Los Angeles area, graduating from the University of Redlands (Go Bulldogs!) where I received my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education. I also earned my TK Certificate from the University of La Verne. Like many of you, I live in the Rancho Cucamonga area with my wonderful husband of 28 years. I have 4 terrific children. I have 2 daughters and 2 sons who have all grown up here in Etiwanda and attended Perdew Elementary. My oldest daughter is a Kindergarten teacher at Caryn Elementary in Etiwanda. My second daughter graduated from Chaffey College and now works for Nordstrom's. My boys are both students at UCSD. One is studying to be a chemical engineer and just graduated and is now working on his Masters in Chemical Engineering. My other son is studying to be a pharmacist and just started Med school at UCSD this Fall. Needless to say, we are a busy family.
I am looking forward to working with your child this year and helping them to achieve their full potential. Our days and weeks will be filled with many wonderful, fun, developmental experiences and opportunities for learning and growing. You will see that at Perdew, we are always REACHING NEW HEIGHTS!
