Hi! My name is Mrs. Irozuru. Let me give you some insight into who your teacher will be this year.

What I really want you to know first and foremost, is that-just like you (yes-students, I'm talking about you)--I am a person with likes, dislikes, opinions, passions, hopes, and dreams. In our classroom we will work with and get to know others who will have these things in common and others who will not. In order for you to learn and for me to do the job that I LOVE, we must have a mutual understanding of RESPECT. In OUR class, we will be kind, we will accept, we will laugh, we will make mistakes, we will try new things, we will SUCCEED, and we will FAIL, but we will ALWAYS do our best. When I say "we" I mean exactly that--YOU AND ME, together. I will not ask of you what I would not ask of myself or my own child (Yep, I have a son-I'll talk about him below, too). You will quickly find that these are all important to me and the success of OUR classroom.

Ok, so what are some of my likes, dislikes, passions, dreams, ect? I'm glad you asked! One of my passions really is teaching. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Language Arts. This will be my 27th year teaching, 24 of which have been in the Etiwanda School District. I have taught grades 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7.

Another passion of mine is sports. I am a huge Dodger's fan, but overall just enjoy the sport. This past summer my son and I completed our dream of attending a game at all 30 MLB stadiums. Special memories for sure!

I am married and have 1 son. My son will be going to college as a freshman this fall. My husband and I also enjoy movies, Netflix, puzzles, being outdoors and traveling when we can. Another dream I had was to visit his family in Nigeria and we were able to do that in the summer of 2023! I love to learn about other cultures and traditions, and look forward to learning things from you!
