welcome to 3rd grade

Terra Vista Elementary School

Mrs. Miller

Greetings Students and Families,

My name is Mrs. Miller and I am so happy to be your Third Grade teacher! We are going to learn (and read) a ton this year. I know that it's going to be a wonderful year and I am so happy that you are in my class!

I received my Bachelor's Degree from George Mason University, earned my Teaching Credential from the University of La Verne, competed the Masters of Education at Redlands University, and earned a Masters Degree in Education Teaching & Learning from Brandman University. I have prior teaching experience in Kindergarten, First, and Fourth grade within the Etiwanda School District. I love teaching and am looking forward to a wonderful year in third grade.

When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family. I love attending sporting events like the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Baseball team, volunteering within our community, supporting Level Up Kids Sports, and drinking coffee (which you will see me do a lot of this year).

My Teaching Philosophy- I am committed to providing my students with an encouraging, nurturing, and collaborative learning environment that supports their individual needs, abilities, and learning styles. As a life-long learner, I teach to encourage and instill the love of learning and reading in my students.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Miller
