Hello Terra Vista Families!

Welcome to a new school year, everyone! I’m thrilled to introduce myself as your child's kindergarten teacher. My name is Anna Merjano.

I bring five wonderful years of teaching experience to our classroom. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade and SPED (Special Education). This is my third year teaching Kinder and is my favorite grade to teach. I graduated from the beautiful California State University, Monterey Bay with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned my Master of Arts in Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at National University. Outside of the classroom, I cherish every moment spent with my loving husband and our two wonderful dogs. When we're not enjoying family time, you'll likely find me indulging in my two favorite pastimes: exploring the magic of Disneyland and sipping on a refreshing drink from Starbucks. This year, I'm excited to share that my husband and I are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our baby girl, due in late July! While I take some time to welcome her into the world, our fabulous guest teacher will be stepping in to ensure that your children have a seamless and exciting start to the school year.

I firmly believe that the key to a successful educational journey is a strong partnership between teachers and families. Together, we can create a nurturing and dynamic environment where your children will thrive and grow. I can't wait to embark on this adventure with all of you and make this a fantastic year for our little learners!
