Hello! My name is Lisa Sommers.  I am thrilled to be teaching my 11th year in transitional kindergarten. This is an awesome age.  I am so lucky to be part of this time in a child's development.  Before TK,  I taught first grade for 15 years.   This is my 24th year here at Windrows Elementary!  I earned my bachelors degree in psychology from Cal State Fullerton in 1997.  I continued on to get my teaching credential and masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Chapman University in 1999.   I have two daughters of my own ages 26 and 19.   So there is a little about me!! :)  I look forward to starting this year with your child.  We are going to grow academically, socially, and have fun!
