**Please note - CLOUDS Preschool will not be located at Carleton P. Lightfoot, John L. Golden, or Terra Vista Elementary School in 2025-2026. Students from those schools would need to attend the CLOUDS program at another school site.

Eligibility

Students who wish to enroll must meet the following criteria:

  • Preschool age students (3-4 years of age). Students who are 4 years old and transitional kindergarten age, or 5 years old and kindergarten age are not eligible to enroll in preschool.

  • (2) forms of residency verification (see District Policy).

  • Current immunization record. Pre-K Immunization Requirements

  • Completed enrollment packet.

  • Payment in advance of applicable, non-refundable fees (General Education students only).

  • General Education students must be toilet trained prior to enrollment.

Those students identified as having special needs must be evaluated and meet specific eligibility criteria for Special Education (please contact the Special Education Department for more information). C.L.O.U.D.S. is one of many placement options for preschool students with special needs who reside in the Etiwanda School District boundaries.

Residency Verification
Below is a list of acceptable documentation for "proof of residency"

  1. Utility service payment receipts: disposal, water, SoCal Gas, SCE, cable, telephone

  2. Pay Stub

  3. Voter registration

  4. Property tax payment receipts

  5. Rent payment receipts

  6. Correspondence from a government agency (Social Services, DMV, etc.)

  7. Declaration of residency executed by the student's parent/guardian OR

  8. Certified original closing document from escrow or rental/lease agreement.  These items are temporary proof.  Two (2) of the above items must be presented within thirty (30) days of enrollment.

Original Birth Certificate
A certified copy of a birth certificate or statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth, a duly attested baptism certificate or passport. When none of the above documents is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent/guardian.

Fees

Fees pertain to General Education preschool students only. There is a $75 non-refundable annual registration fee. Monthly participation fees are $360 and are non-refundable. They are due on the first day of each month. After the 5th of the month, a late fee will be assessed and your child will be excluded until payment is brought current. Payment is due regardless of family vacation or absence. Non-sufficient fund fees are assessed for all returned checks. Registration fees will be billed to your e-mail address and due upon receipt to secure your spot.
