C.A.R.E.S. Counseling Interns at Perdew Elementary teamed up with students to create traditional Guatemalan worry dolls as part of our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!
The dolls are a meaningful way to explore Guatemalan culture and help students express their emotions in a creative and hands-on way.

Mrs. Green went above and beyond, bringing the excitement of a Time Machine themed Book Fair to life with her creative costumes and dedication! A huge shout-out from the Cuaresma Family to Windrows Elementary for its amazing staff and teachers! From Mrs. Valasek to Mrs. Haefner and now Mrs. Sweeney, the family is so grateful for the dedication and care they’ve shown. The office staff is incredibly sweet and accommodating, too! Although small, this community is filled with hope and positivity. The Cuaresma Family is so proud to be a part of it and wishes nothing but the best for Windrows Elementary.
A big High Five to four amazing parents from Etiwanda Colony who went above and beyond when a student was injured at an event! Martha Gray, Zoki Protic, Ryan Garner, and JoAnn Henwood—each with experience in the medical field—came together as a team to help with compassion, professionalism, and care. Their swift action and kindness made all the difference during a difficult moment. Thank you for being incredible role models in our community!
