
Shoutout to April McAllaster! An Etiwanda parent is giving her a high five today for her countless hours of dedication to the Etiwanda School District and surrounding communities. From Girl Scouts troop leader to Windrows Elementary PTA Treasurer and President of Rancho Cucamonga PTAs, her contributions are numerous. Thank you for all your service!


DCIS was recognized tonight at the district's board meeting for the success of its journalism class, winning 6 badges this year—the first time a middle school has achieved this recognition. Way to go!


We are so excited for Shrey from DCIS as he competes tonight in the final round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee! The finals will be televised today on the ION channel, and we invite everyone to tune in and cheer for Shrey on this prestigious stage. Today, we're celebrating the remarkable achievements of Rachel, a student at Windrows Elementary. Throughout this school year, Rachel has achieved notable success. She began by being elected as a class representative, eventually ascending to the position of President of the Windrows Student Council. Rachel's diligent efforts earned her a place on the Principal's Honor Roll for the 1st Trimester. Additionally, she actively participates in choir and demonstrates her proficiency as an accomplished pianist. With Rachel's determination and talents, we eagerly anticipate the future successes awaiting her.

Mireille Navarro is receiving a high five today! As president of Summit Intermediate's PTSA, she tirelessly ensures all our sharks (teachers and students) are cared for. Mireille collaborates seamlessly with Principal Kelley for the best student opportunities. PTSA's motto, "teamwork makes the dream work," rings true, earning them 5 awards from the 5th district this year!


Andrea from Grapeland is getting a HUGE shoutout today from Madylen and her family! Andrea is an incredible 5th grader and a true friend to Madylen. She is so sweet and kind, always including Mady in daily activities. Her simple hellos, hugs, and goodbyes make Mady so happy!


In celebration of the last week of school, many former Windrows students visited Mr. Lautenslager before graduating from the local high schools.
