Cucamonga Valley Water District held their annual poster contest, and a shout-out goes to Shantelle from Grapeland Elementary for being the big sweepstakes winner and taking home an Apple iPad. This year's theme was "Water is Life," and Shantelle's poster beautifully depicted that. Way to go!

Ms. Yerkish, librarian extraordinaire at Solorio Elementary, experienced an act of kindness from her Solorio family when her father fell ill. She often thinks about that and is so grateful she is able to pay the kindness forward.
A special high five is going out to the Terra Vista community from the Elassadi family! Miss Nadia and her sons Laith, Mikal, and Yasin appreciate the support in helping them grow awareness over the past few years! Timmy was greeting his pack at the front gates, giving high fives to his special guest today. "Light it up blue" with hearts so true.
We are so proud of Jup Singh, an eighth-grade student from Heritage Intermediate, who will represent Etiwanda School District and San Bernardino County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. Congratulations Jup!
Tonight, the City of Rancho Cucamonga City Council recognized Board Member David Long's service to the community. His daughter, Desiree Clark, accepted the certificate on his behalf.
Windrows Elementary students are having a great time learning about erosion with this hands-on science lesson.
Fourth grade students at Windrows Elementary studied energy conversions. Student groups worked together to figure out a way to build a simple electrical system using a solar panel, wires, a fan, and a motor. #stemintheclassroom
