Ishaan, a student at Perdew Elementary, was named one of the finalists in the 2023 3M Young Scientist Challenge. Ishaan was one of 10 students honored in the prestigious nationwide competition. The annual 3M Young Scientist Challenge invites students in grades 5-8 to compete for an exclusive mentorship with a 3M scientist, a $25,000 grand prize, and the chance to earn the title of "America’s Top Young Scientist."


Layla, from Caryn Elementary, is an amazing artist. She is pictured here showing her skills in using different artistic mediums.


Today we are highlighting West Heritage's choir. Here they are performing at their Student of the Month assembly. It was their first performance, and they were amazing!


Mrs. Clark, an Etiwanda Colony TK teacher, is getting a shout-out today. This past school year she used her afternoons to teach performing arts to Colony's 1st-5th grade students.


Do you want to know a fun fact about Ms. Haines, the amazing librarian at Etiwanda Colony? Ms. Haines carves pumpkins to honor famous people who passed away the previous year. The picture here is of Pat Carroll, who was the voice of Ursula in The Little Mermaid.


The activities that Debra from East Heritage enjoys most revolve around her family. She enjoys having family game nights, celebrating birthdays together at Vince's or Northwoods Inn, and even getting together weekly to watch their favorite show, Survivor.

Do you want to know some fun facts about the fantastic East Heritage librarian? Before working at East Heritage, Mrs. Jain taught Bollywood classes and is a certified yoga instructor. She loves books and being healthy.


Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, Jeannie Tavolazzi, is sending a HIGH FIVE to this incredible group of educators who spent three days of their summer attending an institute where they collaborated on best practices for meeting the needs of students. The dedication and care they display for Etiwanda students is awe inspiring! Thank you for all you do!
