This week's highlighted employee is Luz Aispuro, a campus support team member at East Heritage Elementary. Luz supervises East Heritage Explorers during recesses and helps to keep them safe. She is always willing to take on extra duties and help at events to support our school.

Enjoy the break!

We do not want another day to pass without congratulating Terra Vista for receiving the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Silver Award. They are teaching students expectations and positively reinforcing them when they are caught being safe, respectful and responsible!

How lucky are the Solorio Tigers to have Ms. Yerkish in their library? Every week, she goes above and beyond to dress up as a different book character. She once again outdid herself when we caught her reading "A Bad Case of Stripes" today. Excellent work, Ms. Yerkish!

National Substitute Educators Day is observed on November 18. Please join us in expressing our gratitude to our substitute teachers for stepping in to support our schools and the instruction of our students.

The Kindness Crew from Summit Intermediate visited Etiwanda Colony to assist Mrs. Adams and her fourth-graders with weeding and seeding their garden.

Congratulations to Falcon Ridge Elementary School for receiving a generous donation from Burlington Coat Factory and AdoptAClassroom.org. We are certain their teachers are excited to purchase supplies for their classrooms and students.

What is your favorite mode of exercise? Did you know we had 800 runners participate in the E3 Fun Run just a few weeks ago? Way to go, Etiwanda! #wellnesswednesday

Mr. Flores, Head Custodian at EIS, is this week's highlighted employee. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to teach their students the importance of recycling and how to sort trash at lunch. We are extremely grateful for his initiative, dedication, and hard work!!!
