Mr. White, custodian at Solorio Elementary, is receiving a virtual high five from a Solorio family. They appreciate how helpful he is and always has a good attitude. He is adored by everyone at Solorio. Thank you Mr. White!


Mrs. Jensen/Galvan's Preschool class at Golden Elementary is giving Mr. James a virtual high five today. They appreciate him so much and have even named him the "world's best custodian." Thank you, Mr. James, for all that you do at Golden Elementary.


Miss Curtright, a wonderful Windrows Elementary teacher, is receiving a virtual high five today. Her class loves a read aloud after lunch recess. She read about potential careers when we were in her class, and the students then wrote about them. Way to go, Miss Curtright.


The students at Lightfoot Elementary are giving Mr. Tom, their custodian, a virtual high five today. They are incredibly appreciative of Mr. Tom and everything he does to keep the CPL campus ready for learning.


The Etiwanda Colony Cubs are giving their custodian, Mr. Worden, a virtual high five today. They want him to know how grateful they are for him!


Laurien McClue, PTA president at John L. Golden Elementary, is receiving a virtual high five today from a Golden family. They want to make sure that she knows that the time and effort she is putting into the school and students does not go unnoticed. Great job, Laurien.


Ms. Houghton is receiving a virtual high five today for using bunny ear breathing to calm and connect her TK students at Grapeland Elementary. Well done, Grizzlies!


This week's employee spotlight shines on the campus support staff at West Heritage Elementary. Mr. Lowman, Mrs. Faiz, Ms. Lowman, Mrs. Gomar, and Mrs. Dugic always go above and beyond to help support the West Heritage students and keep them safe!


What a great turnout for this past Saturday's Star Wars Reads event. Our students took part in games, crafts, costume contests, and even were able to meet some Star Wars characters. Thank you to our district and site librarians for making this such a successful event.

October 2nd is National School Custodian Day. This is to show appreciation for our custodial staff, who are dedicated to keeping our schools clean and running smoothly. Take a moment and give them a BIG THANK YOU for all that they do to keep our schools safe and sparkling.
