Some of our Etiwanda teachers were asked why they became teachers. Ms. Ly, a fourth-grade teacher from Solorio, became a teacher to help others, to teach beyond academics, and to share important life skills and lessons.

Kaylee, a talented Solorio Elementary student, is the creator of this incredible work.

West Heritage summer school students participated in a free book giveaway. We are certain this will encourage reading at home!!!

This week at summer school, Mrs. Herrera's class at Falcon Ridge had a theme of traveling the world. Their first destination was Canada, where they drew beavers and had authentic maple syrup.

What a great way to end the week! These Caryn Cougars had a great time discovering and making volcanoes.

DW Long Rangers think it's cool to read! Today they had fun enjoying popsicles and dressing up as their favorite book character.

During our summer learning program, Perdew Pioneers are having fun while working on STEAM projects.

Wacky Wednesday at Perdew!!!

More amazing artwork from our Etiwanda students. This one in particular was created by Jiya, a Summit Shark.

This week's student spotlight shines on Regan, an EIS Wildcat. Regan is always motivating the students in her class. She stays late and, without being asked, helps her teacher. Good job Regan!

This week's friendship spotlight is on Avery and Elyssa, both Colony Cubs. To them, friendship means being kind and considerate of each other. Also, knowing that a friend is a special person that is always there for you and fun to be around.

Our amazing administrative secretaries are attending their first meeting of the new school year. We are fortunate in our district to have so many people that want to support our students.

Sophia from Lightfoot Elementary is this week's student spotlight. Sophia is always upbeat and eager to learn, whether she is in or out of the classroom. Here she is on a fieldtrip to Jensen Alvardo Ranch. I bet she had a blast.
