Happy holidays from all of us at Caryn Elementary! Thursday, December 19 is a minimum day. Students in grades K-5 will be dismissed at 1:15 PM. All TK attend AM session (8:05-11:25 AM). Caryn office closes at 3:00 PM. There is no school Friday, December 20 - Friday, January 3. School resumes on January 6.
Kind Cougars Challenge - During the first three weeks of December, our school will have a kindness challenge. For every kindness challenge students complete, they earn PBIS points! Their teachers have coupons for students to complete and turn into their theacher using the "honor system." Week 2 challenge - BE A PROBLEM SOLVER
Choir Winter Performance - TONIGHT - Choir students meet at the Los Osos High School Theatre at 5:00 PM. The performance begins at 6:00 PM. Everyone is invited to attend the performance.

Veteran's Day Assemblies - **We need pictures of Veterans..** Please submit pictures of a Veteran you would like to have honored at our assemblies by Thursday, October 31. Families are invited to attend the assemblies on Thursday, November 7 at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Caryn Elementary is honoring all who served and are currently serving. Make-Up and Retake Picture Day - Tuesday, September 24. If your student did not have their picture taken on the first Fall Picture Day, or you do not care for the pictures from the first Fall Picture Day, order your pictures at www.shopstudio1.com. The School Code is G670. If you have your pictures from the first picture day, bring them with you to exchange to have their picture taken again.
Get ready for the Bubble Run! Thursday, September 26. Students will be participating in fun laps with bubble stations. Wear athletic clothing. A Bubble Run T-shirt will be provided for each student the day of the run. Wear suncreen (and a hat if preferred). Don't forget to get your pledges!
