A HUGE Thanks from the Cal Fire squad out of Hemet Ryan airport! Miss Tim's class of 5th graders designed and wrote cards and letters to the Cal Fire pilots flying over our hills to keep us safe! They were thrilled to see all of the painting and notes making sure they knew their community at Lightfoot and Etiwanda had them in our hearts while they flew over the Smoky skies of our recent fires! #Calfire #HemetRyan



5th grade students in Ms. Día's class have been studying ecosystems. Students made terrariums during this unit in Amplify Sciencs.

We had a very special moment at Lightfoot this morning! Adrian Castro, a former Lightfoot student, has been gone serving in the Air Force for almost 4 years. Today he came home to Lightfoot to surprise his 5th grade sisters, Leah and Bella! Thank you Castro family for letting us share in your special moment and Thank You Adrian for your service!

More Hands on STEM activities at Lightfoot.... Mrs. Verhoeven's 3rd Grade Class did the Spaghetti Tower Challenge!





APEX Leadership and Fundraising company will be on our campus for 2 weeks. During this time they will be teaching about leadership and fitness as well as helping us raise money for CPL! Today kicked off with a APEX Pep Rally!





Student teams In Mrs. Boehm's class worked together to put a life saver around Fred and help him back into his boat. Students were not allowed to touch Fred, the boat, or the life preserver directly with their hands, only with paper clips. Students practiced teamwork while building on their STEM knowledge.
