Hello, I am Mrs. Garcia. I have been teaching since 1996. I first started teaching in the Ontario-Montclair School District and then moved to the Etiwanda School District. Ever since I was in the 4th grade, I have wanted to be a teacher. I am from Michigan, but moved to California for school. Now I live in Rancho Cucamonga with my family. I'm excited for our year together in 1st grade!!

Things to know for the first week:
1. Students will need a snack, lunch, and water bottle. Please pack the snack separate from the lunch.
2. Upon arrival first grade students will follow the orange cones and find the classroom with the BLUE FEET on the door!
3. Dismissal on Monday is at 1:15, and on Tuesday-Thursday it will be at 2:45. Students are to be picked up at the north end of the front loop in the bike rack area. We encourage parents to pick up in the car rather than walking.
4. PE starts Tuesday and will be every Tuesday and Thursday. Please bring an extra water on these days and wear appropriate clothing and shoes to do moderate activity.
5. Students MUST wear a mask (over the ear style) while in the classroom at ALL times!
