Theresa Spezialy

Hello, my name is Theresa Spezialy. I began my teaching career in 1990. Yes, this will be year 35 for me! It is true that time flies when you're having fun. I have been blessed to do what I love and to love what I do. My class and I will navigate a wonderful year of learning together.

My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Child Development, a Masters of Arts in Special Education. I hold credentials in the areas of Multiple Subject, Mild/Moderate Education Specialist and an Autism Authorization. My experience includes 17 years teaching in general education, teaching grades Kindergarten-sixth grade. I am now entering my 18th year in special education.

My amazing husband and I have been happily married for over 30 years. We have two wonderful sons whom I adore and have learned that thankfully, parenting never ends. Our eldest completed his MBA and works in management for UPS, our youngest just graduated from Long Beach State University. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, loving on my baby nephew, spending time with friends and shopping!!!
