Welcome to D1!  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher.  I have been with Etiwanda School District for 15 years.  I am so thrilled to be a part of this wonderful district, amazing staff members, and supportive families.

I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and ventured to Kansas University to receive my bachelor’s degree in Illustration and Design.  After college, I moved to California where I received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State San Bernardino as well as a Single Subject Art Credential. Additionally in 2019, I completed my Masters Degree in Education from Brandman University.   

I have two children that keep me very busy when I am not teaching.  When I do have time, I love to go hiking, play at the beach, ride bikes with my kids, go for walks with my dog, and work on my artwork.

Simple Steps to Turn on the Parent Notification Feature for Aeries

Log into Aeries

In the right-hand corner, click on Account Preferences

Select Parent Notification Preferences

Select your preferred day of the week and time to receive the weekly update

Click on "Save"

Homework Assignments

Spelling Instructions:

Go onto www.spellingcity.com/kgeye/

Students can do Teach Me, Test Me, and play the free games.

If you are unable to do spelling on the computer, you can write your spelling words 3 times each, rainbow write your words, have a parent give you an oral test, or use your words in a sentence.

Independent work will be assigned daily and due back the next day, unless directed otherwise. 


Math- Students will use pages from their Math Workbook to reinforce the daily lesson. Students should only complete the pages that are assigned.
