Caryn Elementary honored our Veterans with a celebration! This day is to recognize and thank all of our service members for their bravery and sacrifice. We are so proud of all who have served our country and we thank all of them for all that they have done!

A big shout-out to Mrs. Gionet for providing such an excellent learning opportunity for the new multilingual students at EIS. Mrs. Gionet made sure the students learned about Halloween traditions. The students were able to "trick or treat" around campus. It was a fun and practical learning experience.

Attendance is a key factor in academic success! Strive for 5 or fewer absences, be on time every day, and attend school all day.
May, a 5th grade student from Caryn Elementary, showed her school spirit by representing her school in the district spelling bee last year. May studied a lot and was very proud of herself for placing 2nd at Caryn and 4th in the district. During the bee, May felt nervous and excited at the same time. Her advice to others is to not worry about getting the words right; just try your best and have fun with it.
It's School Psychology Week, and we're celebrating our Etiwanda psychologists! School psychologists are integral to the success of our students, and we applaud their hard work and dedication. Here's to an amazing group of professionals that provide so much to our schools and students.

Mrs. Aichlmayr would like to give a high five to her awesome student leadership students! Last week, they worked to prepare posters during their lunchtime, post reminders, and collect coins for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation! Together, they raised $830.00! Perdew was able to use the money to sponsor a participant in the annual 3-day walk. Way to go!

The students in Etiwanda's Virtual Academy celebrated their first "Friendship Friday" last week. Teachers and students celebrated together by having fun activities, sharing smiles, and creating memories!
The E3 Mystic Mascot Run is just a few days away. Runners can pick up their race bib and shirt on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 3:15–6:00 PM at Colony Elementary's MPR or the next morning at the race. We are so excited for this awesome event.
