This week's spotlight shines on Miranda Lowman, campus support at Terra Vista Elementary. Miranda goes above and beyond to help the students at Terra Vista, where they count on her tremendously to support students and staff. We are certain they are thankful for her hard work!

We asked a few of our students what their favorite classroom activity was. Jaylenne from DCIS loves GimKit, which is a fun game-show type of activity that encourages the students to collaborate and strategize to win. What a fun way to learn!

Mr. Worden is the newest addition to Etiwanda Colony and is our highlighted employee this week. He goes above and beyond his job description every single day and always has a smile on his face. We know that the students and staff at Etiwanda Colony appreciate Mr. Worden.

Kinsley, a first-grade student at Colony Elementary, says her favorite classroom activity is art because she loves to draw.

Mrs. Spezialy’s class at Etiwanda Colony made spider webs using string and the bottoms of their chairs to collect various insects for the spiders to eat. The goal was to create the best web that caught the most insects! Way to go! #stemintheclassroom

Gigi, a first grader in Mrs. Canchola's class, says her favorite classroom activity is when her class does centers. "I like to do centers because we learn and have fun at the same time. Spelling Bee and Learning.com are two of my favorites. I also love to read on Epic." -Gigi

Lightfoot Elementary is proud to spotlight Mrs. Barbie this week. She is not only one of their incredible campus support providers, but she is also a member of their site's PBIS Team, helps run the student store, and is the president of CPL's incredible PTO!

The bubbling over science experiment called "Witches Brew" was a hit with Ms. Gomez's DWL kindergarteners.  #stemintheclassroom

Wow, these Caryn Cougars are so lucky that this past week they were able to turn Mr. T and Mrs. Parker into human sundaes. What excellent sports the Caryn school administrators are. The students were recognized for their efforts with the school's fall fundraiser! - Happy Sunday!

Vanessa Valenzuela, one of our preschool team members, is receiving a high five today for her dedication to our Etiwanda students and for always being positive and eager to help out.

Mrs. Boehm at Lightfoot Elementary is receiving a high five today. She is the substitute teacher filling in for Mr. Campbell and is doing an amazing job.

Mr. Nguyen, one of our amazing teachers from Caryn Elementary, is receiving a high five today from the Cuaresma family. They appreciate Mr. Nguyen's sincerity and caring towards the Caryn community. They love Caryn, and they know that Mr. Nguyen is a big part of why they do.
