Mr. Worden is the newest addition to Etiwanda Colony and is our highlighted employee this week. He goes above and beyond his job description every single day and always has a smile on his face. We know that the students and staff at Etiwanda Colony appreciate Mr. Worden.
Mrs. Spezialy’s class at Etiwanda Colony made spider webs using string and the bottoms of their chairs to collect various insects for the spiders to eat. The goal was to create the best web that caught the most insects! Way to go! #stemintheclassroom

Our Cubs participated in Farmer's Market day today with a presentation from some of our very own Etiwanda School District Employees- Doug & Amber Claflin, when not working for ESD are farmers- they shared animals and what fruits and vegetables they grow with all our students.
The Kindness Crew from Summit Intermediate visited Etiwanda Colony to assist Mrs. Adams and her fourth-graders with weeding and seeding their garden.

We’re raising funds for 💙 Support teachers, Academic Enrichment, Assemblies, Special Activities. 💙 and WE NEED YOUR HELP:
1. 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱: Log onto the MyApexEvent.com website using your student’s unique ACCESS CODE. Codes are coming home today!
2. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Simply click the “Enter Pledge” button on your student’s donation page to make a $ pledge per lap or any flat donation amount.
3. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 & 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀: Invite family and friends to donate online using the “Share Wizard” feature. Send a link via SMS text, email, and social media.
4. 𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿: On 10/21/22, encourage your student to do their best at our Apex Fun Run event. It’s going to be a TON of FUN!

We love the amazing leadership and character-building portion of the Apex program as it focuses on developing student self-control and interpersonal skills that are vital for school and life success. With this year’s #ApexXFACTOR theme, students and staff will be immersed in an epic two-week adventure where they will discover the mystery of the X-Factor and reveal the true leader that lives within them! These quick, engaging lessons tie in with our school’s vision and mission, encourage students to create a positive environment, and inspire them to lead by example.
✅ 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: The Apex Fun Run event will be held on 10/21/22.

📢 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢𝗢𝗡! Our Apex Fun Run event fundraiser and leadership program kicks off on 10/11/22.
Apex is a local company that provides a fun 2-week program where students will learn about important leadership habits and good character traits. Then the program wraps up with a celebratory, high energy fitness event: The Apex Fun Run. It’s going to be a TON of FUN!
The funds raised from this event will go towards 💙 Support teachers, Academic Enrichment, Assemblies, Special Activities. 💙.
