Welcome to kindergarten! My name is Ms. Reynolds and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year.  I have been an elementary educator for 26 years (21 as a Solorio Tiger and 23 in the Etiwanda School District), specializing in kindergarten and first grade. I feel so fortunate to be part of such a fantastic, supportive community of students, parents, and educators.  I absolutely love teaching and am dedicated to providing the best possible learning environment for each of my students.  

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my sons, Jaden (22) and Toryn (20) who are both former Solorio Tigers. Some of our favorite family activities include traveling, going to the beach, watching movies, and hiking. I also love online shopping (you won’t catch me in a store!), checking out new restaurants with friends (Ms. Young in B-6 is my bestie), and having marathon phone conversations with my sister in New Jersey (she loves hearing about my sweet students).  

I have been looking forward to meeting you all and beginning our phenomenal year of learning together.  Please be sure to join me for Back to School Night on August 6 beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Since we had an opportunity to share information about our kindergarten program at orientation last week, this will be a chance for families to visit their child’s classroom and get to know the teacher.   

I am confident that our students will show an incredible amount of growth during kindergarten.  Prepare to be amazed as your child develops as a friend, reader, mathematician, scientist, writer, thinker and so much more!  I am so glad we’ll be partnering to make it a great year for your child.  Welcome to our class family!
