Carlee Heinecke

Carlee Heinecke

This is my 6th year of teaching at Heritage Intermediate School. I graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo with my bachelors in Liberal Studies and then attended Cal Poly Pomona for my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Additionally, I have a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. Prior to teaching for the Etiwanda School District, I taught a 1st/2nd grade combination class and 5th grade in Bonita Unified School District. Additionally, I coached soccer and volleyball middle school sports teams for several years. I have a love and personal commitment to help my students grow in confidence and exceed beyond their academic goals. My personal hobbies include: spending time with my family, roommates, hiking, traveling, going to the beach, cooking, camping, volunteering at my church and reading.  I am looking forward to helping my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through this school year.

Welcome to 7th Grade!

They will assist custodial staff with task and campus clean up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 7th Grade Leadership will run the Hawk Hospitality Service and decorate for staff lunches. Universal Access

Our primary focus will be to : (1) develop foundational skills in Language Arts (2) reinforce what is being taught in Language Arts (3) provide opportunities for extension and acceleration in Language Arts . This will be accomplished by providing students with direct instruction, accompanied by experiential learning opportunities, working with and learning from peers, as well as, small group lessons targeted to students specific needs.
