Teacher Name

Congratulations on entering the 2024/2025 School Year! My name is Danielle Aulakh and I have the privilege of entering my fifth year at Heritage Intermediate School as your student’s Math/Science teacher.

Discovering my love for teaching became a passion of mine during my undergraduate years in college when I got hired as an AVID tutor for a middle school. As an AVID tutor, I was able to continue my education and teach the young minds of our future! While attending Cal State University of San Bernardino, I received my Bachelor’s degree of Science in Kinesiology. In order to fulfill my dream of becoming an educator, I enrolled in the Teaching Credential Program at Cal Baptist University, where I was awarded my Master’s in Science and Education and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential.

I am very excited for this new school year and cannot wait to see the endless possibilities we will have together. Students are the future of our tomorrow and I want them to know that they are able to do anything they set their mind to!

UA

Universal Access-UA

Our primary focus will be to develop foundational skills in reading, reinforce what is being taught in Language Arts, provide opportunities for extension and acceleration in Language Arts, provide instruction in multi-lingual language development, and touch base with the students on my caseload.

This will be accomplished by looking at student data after the first iReady Diagnostic, to make sure I can support them for their individual learning needs. Every student will need to work on mastery for skills that will be essential while they are learning in Language Arts. Also, I will ensure that students will set goals for their reading and practice to strengthen the skills they already have. Our goal is to get students to have opportunities to develop academically and grow as a learner to be the best they can be. Universal Access will provide students with better opportunities that will challenge their critical thinking skills.
