Marlo Erlendson

This is my 8th year of teaching at Heritage Intermediate School. I graduated from the University of La Verne in 2013 with my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Previously I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science from California Polytechnic University of Pomona. Additionally, I have a minor degree in Criminal Justice.

Following the credential program, I spent two years teaching 3rd grade and one year teaching 1st. I have a love and personal commitment to learning and dedication to my students' success in academics.

My personal hobbies include, spending time with my husband, three daughters and puppy, bike riding, and exercising.

Geography

The students will spend the next 6 weeks exploring and learning about the different continents in the world. For each continent they will focus on geography, cuisine, destinations, quality of life and service opportunities.

Universal Access

Our primary focus will be to develop foundational skills in Language Arts by applying critical thinking techniques. This will be accomplished by using small group instruction, core literature reading passages, informational text structures, and a variety of cooperative learning activites.
